Event Description
The Total Solar Eclipse of 2017 will be Monday, August 21 from 10:16am-1:00pm with totality at 11:35am.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is perfectly situated in the path of the 2017 solar eclipse but be sure to plan your trip carefully. Some of the area's hotels have been booked for more than two years prior to the event. Visitor may wish to consider alternate locations.

The communities of Victor & Driggs, Idaho and Alta, Wyoming are located on the western slope of the Grand Tetons, commonly referred to as "the quiet side of the Tetons."

The road to the west leads to Togwotee Pass and Dubois, Wyoming featuring incredible views of the Jackson Hole valley and the Teton Mountain Range. 

The road to the south takes visitors through the Snake River Canyon to the charming communities of Alpine and Afton, Wyoming.
