How to Create a Sustainability Policy and How to Implement Strategies
The workshop will make the case for business sustainability, offer tools for reducing waste through areas such as energy efficiency and purchasing modifications, help businesses plan for sustainability policy implementation, and highlight stories of businesses around the region that have implemented sustainability programs. The workshop will feature presentations by representatives from The Jackson Hole Energy Sustainability Project and Lower Valley Energy. "We are very excited to offer an engaging workshop that focuses on measures that will not only reduce environmental impacts but also provide cost-savings and added value to businesses," says Heather Higinbotham, YBP's Sustainability Programs Manager.
First Interstate Bank will provide the workshop venue and is sponsoring the lunch. The workshop is free and open to any business or organization, but space is limited to the first 15 organizations to respond and an RSVP is required.
